Taco Soup


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) can chili beans, with liquid
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans with liquid
  • 1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, with liquid
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans peeled and diced tomatoes
  • 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chile peppers
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix

Directions

  1. In a medium skillet, cook the ground beef until browned over medium heat. Drain, and set aside.
  2. Place the ground beef, onion, chili beans, kidney beans, corn, tomato sauce, water, diced tomatoes, green chile peppers and taco seasoning mix in a slow cooker. Mix to blend, and cook on Low setting for 8 hours.

Veggie Soup

3/4 - 1 cup water
      corn
      broccoli
      carrots
      potatoes
1    can cream of potato soup
1    cup milk
1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
3-4 ounces provolone cheese
dash of pepper

Directions:

1. In pan, put vegetables in water (barely enough water to cover them), boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes

2. Add soup, milk, cheeses, and pepper. Stir over medium heat until cheese is melted.

Alfredo Sauce

1/2    cup butter
1       (8 ounce) cream cheese
2       teaspoons garlic powder
2       cups milk
6       ounces grated parmesan
1/8    teaspoon pepper

Directions:

1. Melt butter in a medium pan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic powder, stirring with wire wisk until smooth.

2. Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth lumps. Stir in parmesan and pepper.

3. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency. Sauce will thicken rapidly. Thin with milk if cooked too long.

Cream Cheese Frosting

1/2   cup butter, softened
8      ounces cream cheese
4      cups powdered sugar
2      teaspoons vanilla

Directions

1. Beat softened butter and cream cheese until well blended.

2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

1       cup butter
1       cup sugar
1       cup brown sugar
1       teaspoon vanilla
2       eggs
3 1/4 cups oatmeal
1 3/4 cups flour
1       teaspoon salt
1       teaspoon baking soda
1       package of chocolate chips

Directions:

Bake at 350 for 9-10 minutes.
